We are proud and pleased to announce that as of April 7, Wetac and Intercel, two leading Dutch companies in the lead and lithium battery powered solutions market, are joining forces to accelerate growth in Europe. This is an important step in the strategy of both our companies. The goal is to be fully integrated by January 2026, after which we will continue together under the name “Intercel Group.

Two companies, one future
Both Wetac and Intercel are known for high-quality products, excellent service and strong value for money. Together, we play a leading role in four key segments:
- Motive: Cyclic batteries among others for sectors such as mobility, cleaning, agri etc,
- Standby: Backup power including for UPS in telecom & data centers, healthcare, security, etc,.
- Storage: Energy storage systems including for grid congestion and peak shaving,
- Electrification: custom lithium battery solutions for electrification of machinery.
